We are a quiet, year round campground nestled in the heart of Amish country in southern middle Tennessee. Our small campground borders Tennessee's oldest Amish farm, now the Amish Heritage Farm Museum which provides enchanting views of the farm, horses and spectacular sunsets. If it's peace and quiet you're after, you have found it! From the steady clip clop of Amish horse and buggies passing by, to the faint sound of roosters crowing in the morning, our campground offers something truly special. Leave the hustle and bustle behind, and enjoy the slow paced life of Amish country.
Large, clean shower house and laundry machines on site. Free WiFi available near the office area. The office/ shower house has a large wrap around porch with several porch swings, wooden gliders and a picnic table so that you may relax and enjoy your free local newspaper. One side of the porch is designated as a children's area, with toys, bicycles and a few swings. There is a walkway to several Antique Shops and the Amish Country Flea Market located next door. The Amish Market, which you do NOT want to miss is located at the end of our driveway.
Rick's BBQ/ gas station, Marshall's Deli/ Marathon gas station and Dollar General are the closest to the campground at just one mile down the road. The closest Wal-Mart is five miles south, in Lawrenceburg.
Our campground may be in a rural area, but we are only five miles north of Lawrenceburg, which has a Wal-Mart, Kroger, Save A Lot, Tractor Supply Company, CVS, Walgreen's, several banks, along with many fast food places and restaurants, emergency walk in clinics, and a hospital.
This community may be small, but it is rich in heritage and vibrant in life. With miles and miles of back roads to explore and over 300 Amish families in our area, taking the scenic route has never been more interesting.
Come in for some rest and relaxation here at Heritage Campground and RV park.
